Number Nine is a traditional stone-built self catering cottage situated in the picturesque village of Ardmhor in the north of the beautiful Isle of Barra. The cottage is just yards from the beach which forms the world famous Barra airstrip.

We provide all bedding and towels and a travel cot is available.

Electricity, hot water and heating are included in the price.

We operate a minimum booking policy of one week or 7 nights. From March to October, weeks at number nine run Sunday to Sunday (chiefly dictated by the ferry timetable). Guests may have access no earlier than 4pm on the day of entry and the cottage must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but please have them under control at all times as there may be livestock around the croft.

A deposit of approximately 20% is payable on booking and the balance is payable 30 days before you begin your stay. please see our full terms & conditions, available to download here.
